CORONA19 & Options for Indian Community in Korea

Image
Dear Fellow Indians, Namaste! As Korea fights with the CORONA our minds are also filled with fear and doubts because we are fighting the invisible. We do not trust the very air which gives life to us. Acknowledging the current situation and its prolonged impact here are few options we can do to keep our morale up to fight this: 1. Stay Alert but REFRAIN from Fear Instilling News: Take maximum precautions which are covered by Mr. Sudhakar Shah earlier in this group. Do what we  can do best to protect ourselves and families. When people have a crisis situation like this our questioning mind takes back seat and we are vulnerable to believe any information thrown to us. More and more people are engaged to this page in search of quality information, whatever we share is going to have an impact on many people already stressed out there. Before sharing any info please ask: WILL IT HELP TO ALERT OR CREATE NERVOUSNESS? The least help we can do to our people is by refraining from the news ...

Image
Dear TOPIK Aspirant, Welcome! In this post I will be sharing the details of the below two types of listening questions and few tips: TOPIK II Listening Questions 9~12 Next  Action  by  lady , 이어서  여자가  할  행동을  고르기. These type of questions involve dialogue between a man & a lady,  man being the conversation starter. While listening the audio, read the options. The pace of the audio will allow to do so. From the options eliminate the actions which have already taken place in the past.  Focus on what the man asks the woman in the last dialogue. Focus on the potential actions to be done by the lady.  There will be options which may not be immediate action of the lady, they might be the second or third step, but not he first step. So focus on the action which is demanded on priority. Words like firstly, immediately etc. should be listened carefully. 이러한 질문에 남자로부터 벌어지는 남자와 여자가 하는 대화가 나온다. . 오디오 파일을 들으...

Dear TOPIK Aspirant, Welcome!  In this post I want to give insight about the listening test and strategies to solve the questions. Listening test I found the most challenging of the all tests be it reading or writing. Below are few areas which a test taker should be aware while preparing and during the test. Things To Think 60 Minutes of Peak Focus ⏰: The listening test lasts for 60 minutes at its own pace,  continuously . So it requires peak of the concentration. A minor drag of focus here and there can cause loss of points because it takes time to get back to the game. In between we cannot take rest or do any activity which will disturb the other examinees. A Calm Mind is Key : A calm mind is key to the effective communication in all the forms.  We have lots of literature why we should listen more. We, in general, tend to listen less and talk more. To get the razor sharp concentration for 60 minutes one needs serene mind. We must prepare well to get sound ...
